Lights! Camera! Action! Have
you signed up yet? There’s still time to sign up for the 7th
annual Adult Summer Reading Club. All patrons 16 years of age and
older are welcome to participate in the Lights! Camera! Action!
summer program. It’s so easy you won’t believe it! Check out a book or
audio book, sit back, read and enjoy. When you have completed 16
hours, fill out a form and turn in to be entered in a drawing for a
chance to win one of our grand prizes. Prizes include a DVD player,
ESPN Scene It game, $20.00 gift certificate to Family Video and a
Popcorn machine to name a few. Reading club runs from June 2 thru July
26, 2008. The prize drawing will be held on July 29,
2008.
Furniture and Equipment Sale

The Flesh Public Library
will be holding a furniture and equipment sale on Saturday, July 12
from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the program room at the library.
There will be desks, chairs, computers, printers, as well as books,
magazines, videos, etc. Hope to see you there! |
Memories
As the move to our new building approaches many of us will become
nostalgic for the building we are currently occupying. If you have a
special memory of the library you would like to share please
email me your story. It will be included in a special booklet about
the Flesh Public Library. Please submit by August 15, 2008.

The Thursday Book Discussion Group meets the third Thursday of
each month at 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the Business Lounge.

There will not be a book discussion in September due to the move.

The Brown Bag Lunch Book Discussion Group meets at NOON on
the fourth Wednesday of each month in the program Room.
