National Library Card Sign-Up Month, September, 2007
Join us in
celebrating National Library Card Sign-up month at the Flesh Public
Library. Various coupons will be available. Coupons include: Free
replacement cards, fines forgiven up to $1.00, up to 5 free
black/white copies, a free fax up to 3 pages and a drawing for a box
of Winan’s chocolates. Stop in and see what your library has to
offer. Coupons will be available September 4. One coupon per patron,
please.
Recipes needed for Holiday Cookbook, 2007
Send in your
favorite holiday recipes to be placed in our annual Holiday Cookbook.
Everyone who submits a recipe will receive a copy of the cookbook free
of charge. Submit recipes to
graveste@oplin.org Please reference HOLIDAY COOKBOOK in subject
line. You may also drop off your recipes at the circulation desk.
Recipes should be submitted by November 30th. Cookbooks will be
available after December 15th.

We received a generous donation of over 250 titles of many “modern”
classics. Break out your VCR and visit the library to check out these
and many more 80’s and 90’s titles.
Bicentennial Birthday Bash Winners announced
Congratulations to the winners in the Bicentennial Birthday Bash
drawings. Stop in the library to view the list of winners. There
were 297 patrons who completed at least 16 hours of reading.
Those participants read an awesome total of 16,512 hours!

The Thursday Book Discussion Group meets the third Thursday of each
month at 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the Business Lounge. The

The Brown Bag Lunch Discussion Group meets at NOON on the fourth
Wednesday of each month in the Program Room. Bring your lunch and
